Sam Surridge was named to MLS Team of the Matchday following Nashville's 2-2 draw against New York City FC on Saturday.
Nashville SC finished a nine-match month on Saturday with their tenth consecutive unbeaten match. The draw at home saw forward Sam Surridge net two goals in the 27th and 41st minutes, earning him his second brace this month. He now has 11 goals this season, making him second in MLS in goals.
History was made on Saturday: This match gave the Boys in Gold their 100th goal at GEODIS Park, and Matthew Corcoran's first career goal contribution set the record for the youngest player in team history to mark such an achievement at 19 years old.
