NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 2, 2026) – Nashville Soccer Club, in partnership with Special Olympics Tennessee, today held a signing ceremony inside the Goal Post Club at GEODIS Park for its 2026 Special Olympics Unified Team athletes. Each Unified Team player signed their contract accompanied by Nashville SC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Mike Jacobs and players Jack Maher, Brian Schwake and Joe Willis.

“It’s always a special day when we can sign our class for the NSC Unified Team, and this group will continue that outstanding tradition,” said Nashville SC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Mike Jacobs. “We are excited to welcome them as our newest members of the Nashville Soccer Club.”

The Special Olympics Unified Team brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to promote social inclusion and is inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

The 2026 squad marks the fifth-straight season Nashville SC has partnered with Special Olympics Tennessee to field a Unified Team, forming its inaugural squad and providing Special Olympics Tennessee with a $10,000 donation in 2022. Since 2023, Nashville SC has had five Unified Team Athletes and Partners selected for the annual MLS Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game with returning players Harper Gibson and Braden Jenkins representing the Boys in Gold as All-Stars in 2025.

This year’s Nashville SC Unified Team will play two matches:
